CCR Rules

Welcome to Carolina Classic Racing

Here are the rules for Carolina Classic Racing.

We do not clear any black flags, period.

We do not restart any races except if we’re on the starting grid and there’s a technical issue.

If you have a connection issue and fall out of the game/server, and are able to reconnect, you’ll get all of your laps back except 1.

The way we do the lucky dog is when a caution comes out the admin looks at the F2 key, and at that moment the car that is one lap down will be our lucky dog.

When a caution comes out, all drivers hold position and gradually slow down. Listen for the leader.

We do not race back until 10 to go. At 10 to go, we do race back and there are no more lucky dogs.

If the caution comes out with 10 or less laps to go, all cars that are a lap down or more must pass through pit road and start at the end of the field. You do not need to stop for service.

If you caused the caution, just claim it, then the second time by speed down pit road and get yourself a black flag, (EOLL). Then, get service to your vehicle and get back out on the track and do what your spotter tells you to do.

If you are the lucky dog, the second time by speed down pit road, get yourself a black flag (EOLL). Get the service to your vehicle and get back out on the track and do what your spotter tells you to do. When we go green, the admin will give you your lap back. *As long as you’re not the cause of the caution.

If we are racing on a white striped track, you can race below the white line, but it is your responsibility to get back up on the track safely. Yellow line or double line tracks, listen to the admin.

Always post your pit and announce your pit, both coming in and leaving the pits.

If you’re not sure who caused the caution, ask the admin to look and they will.

If you spin out and have flat tires and are moving very slowly, please call a tow truck to avoid other cars getting black flags.

Remember to keep the race chat down, especially under caution so racers can hear their spotters.

Always keep your F2 up so you can see if you’re a lap down and you have lead lap cars coming up on you. If you’re not on the lead lap, as a courtesy, hold your line and let the lead lap cars by safely.
